Experience
I have tutored students in English composition since undergrad school; did so in grad school as part of my teaching assistantship. During subsequent career in insurance, I wrote employee training materials, edited proposals and presentations for colleagues and tutored colleagues in the intricacies of business/profession English. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy working one-on-one with students and enhancing their understanding of our very complicated and tricky language. Being a father myself, I understand the desire of parents to provide the best educational opportunities to their children.
